University

First, let me just say that I am very fortunate to be studying at the University of the Philippines. It has always been my dream to study there. I was so adamant at studying there that I didn’t even think of taking entrance exams in other universities (which was pretty ballsy ‘cause that meant I didn’t have any back-up schools to fall on at all) .

My first course choice was Electronics and Communications Engineering but unfortunately, I didn’t pass the quota so I had to settle for my second choice which was Computer Science. I am so glad I made that choice. You see, I love computers. Let me rephrase that, I LUV computers. Yes, I’m a big dork (shut up!). I also wanted to major in Geography but seriously, what am I gonna do with a geography degree? Plus I know I’ll never make enough money as a geographer here in the Philippines (unfortunately).

So far, I’m really loving my college life. Sure, my schedule’s quite hectic but I think that’s what’s expected but I’m having a very nice time. People really dont’ care about what you wear, I feel like I’m part of some big community (having passed the most difficult entrance exam in the whole country), I meet new people everyday, the campus is uber-huge and the professors are really good.

Busy as a bee

Gosh, I have so much to do yet so little time to do it. You see, this coming Friday I have my first Programming assignment for my Computer Science class (CS 11), I’ll be having my first long exam in Math 17 (Algebra and Trigonometry) plus there’s the Natural Science long exam on Tuesday. *sigh*

Hopefully things will work out just fine….

Too much time on my hands

First week of school just ended. Thank gawd. This weeek had been quite hectic so it’s nice that I get to spend my weekend bumming around in the house. Except, there are times when I have nothing much to do.

So I decided to make this blog…
